Realogy and The Charity Golf Classic
In just eight years, The Charity Golf Classic has raised and distributed $3.3 million for the charities supported by Realogy Corporation and PHH Mortgage. Now in its ninth year, we are delighted once again for the opportunity to “make a world of difference.” Proceeds from the 2007 event were distributed among the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Easter Seals, Food Bank of South Jersey, Habitat for Humanity, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Samaritan Hospice.

For decades, Coldwell Banker franchised offices have donated countless dollars and hours of labor to Habitat for Humanity. In 2006, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and its franchisees participated in a “100 Habitat for Humanity® homes” program to celebrate the Coldwell Banker organization's 100th birthday. This nationwide effort raised more than $6 million to sponsor more than 130 home builds. Coldwell Banker continues its support in 2008 and beyond with the Coldwell Banker Homes for Habitat program.  By 2010, the Coldwell Banker system has pledged to raise another $5 million for local Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

Coldwell Banker Commercial® and Big Brothers Big Sisters

In 2007, Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) launched a strategic partnership with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America (BBBS). BBBS is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States and Coldwell Banker Commercial is proud to support such a worthy cause. In addition to fundraising activities, CBC encourages offices and professionals to increase their involvement on the local level by participating as mentors, offering their professional services pro-bono or assisting by other means. CBC works hand-in-hand with BBBS to promote the organization, to raise awareness and funding and ultimately to generate positive mentoring relationships that have lasting impact on the lives of children across the country. The Climb For Kids’ Sake is the premier CBC annual fundraising effort for the organization. In July 2007, Rick Davidson, president and COO, lead a team of CBC alpine mountain climbers scaling two mountains in three days in the Pacific Northwest, an event that raised over $35,000 for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. A second climb is planned for 2008.
